
Law Firm Carolinas is pleased to announce that Jennifer K. Payne has joined the firm’s Family Law practice in its Greensboro office.
Jennifer brings more than 15 years of experience representing clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, equitable distribution, adoption, termination of parental rights, and other domestic matters. Her practice has included both complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Jennifer is a Certified Family Financial Mediator, Certified Collaborative Law Professional, and certified Parenting Coordinator. In addition to representing clients in court, she has substantial experience with mediation and collaborative family law, allowing her to help clients consider different approaches to resolving domestic disputes based on their individual circumstances.
Before joining Law Firm Carolinas, Jennifer spent many years in private family law practice, including operating her own firm. She also served as a Guardian ad Litem Attorney-Advocate in Guilford County, representing children in abuse, neglect, and dependency proceedings. Most recently, she served as a Managing Attorney and Director of Attorney Development and Compliance with a multi-state family law firm.
Jennifer earned her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2010 and her undergraduate degree, with high honors, from North Carolina Central University.
Jennifer is based in Law Firm Carolinas’ Greensboro office and represents family law clients throughout North Carolina.
